The "Portierato Sociale" project was born from the collaboration of a permanent working table, composed of different stakeholders, with the aim of addressing social inequalities, combating marginalisation, promoting socialisation, inclusion and cultural exchanges, as well as fostering positive neighbourhood relations.

The Social Concierge represents as a physical meeting point where the necessary relationships are initiated to connect citizens in need to the services available in the area and to the community of the Municipality. This is achieved through proximity, accompaniment and continuity of paths aimed at improving people's quality of life.

The objectives of the service include the promotion of active citizenship, the fight against social exclusion, the facilitation of access to services for vulnerable people, the collection of useful information to provide adequate responses to emerging needs, the creation of meeting opportunities and the development of networks of positive relationships on the territory.

To achieve these objectives, the service offers information, listening and guidance assistance, in collaboration with the Social Secretariat-PUA (socio-healthcare single Integrated access point). There is the possibility of accompaniment at other offices or services in the area and support for the use of computers to search for information, access benefits and services and the submission of applications by operators.
