Overall, the project for the conservative restoration and enhancement of the Largo Talamo Tomb focuses on cleaning the marble of the external cladding and painting the iron elements. These activities are essential to preserving the historical and artistic integrity of the tomb, preserving its original beauty in the long term. The use of dedicated methods, materials, and skills, according to the best practices in the sector, will ensure an accurate and high quality restoration, further enhancing this important complex.Cleaning the marble on the external cladding will require the use of specially dedicated methods and materials. The best practices in the sector will be adopted to remove dirt, deposits, and other pollutants accumulated over the years, to restore the tomb to its original appearance and highlighting its architectural characteristics.
Furthermore, the iron elements present in the tomb will be painted to protect the metal from atmospheric agents and corrosion, preserving their integrity and functionality. Specific paints for metal will be used, chosen according to elemental characteristics and the surrounding environment, to guarantee effective and long-lasting protection.
