Caput Mundi: Via delle Botteghe Oscure – Temple of the Nymphs: recovery of the systems and conservative restoration

The project focuses on various activities aimed at enhancing the ancient structures located in the archaeological area of Via delle Botteghe Oscure.
In detail, the following works are planned:
- Sewerage system renovation: renovation and enhancing interventions will be carried out on the building's sewerage system. Assessments, repairs and replacements of pipes and systems will be carried out to ensure correct disposal of waste water;
- Restoration of the columns (stucco parts): the columns in the building will undergo a specific restoration intervention. Damaged or deteriorated parts will be repaired and restored using appropriate techniques. The original stucco decorations of the columns will be restored, giving them back their original aesthetic appearance;
- Anti-intrusion system: in order to ensure the safety of the building, an anti-intrusion system will be installed. This system will allow the entire complex to be monitored and protected, helping to prevent unwanted intrusions and ensuring the protection of the building historical and artistic heritage;
- Artistic Lighting System: to enhance the artistic aspect of the building and create an evocative atmosphere, an artistic lighting system will be created. Strategic light points will be installed, so to highlight the architectural and decorative characteristics of the building during the evening hours, thus allowing the aesthetic enjoyment of the building even at night.
