Caput Mundi: Chapel of Sant'Isidoro a Settecamini (decorations) and Archaeological Area: securing, restoration, and enhancement

Planned activities will include:
For the CHAPEL OF SANT'ISIDORO:
- restoration of internal and external surfaces: restoration and conservation works performed on chapel structures and surfaces to preserve its original appearance and improve its durability;
- inspection and replacement of frames: inspections will be carried out on frames to evaluate their condition and possible replacement;
- restoration of the general electrical system: checks will be carried out and, if necessary, a restoration of the electrical system will be applied to the entire chapel to improve electrical safety and efficiency;
- removal of architectural barriers: architectural obstacles will be removed to make the entrance to the chapel more accessible.
For the ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREA:
- consolidation and securing for existing ancient structures: works will be done to strengthen and ensure the safety of the archaeological structures present in the area;
- cleaning of the ancient Via Tiburtina: cleaning and maintenance interventions will be performed on the ancient Via Tiburtina to preserve its historical appearance and enhance its archaeological importance;
- removal of invasive tree species: invasive plants that could damage or compromise the integrity of archaeological structures will be eliminated;
- creation of structures and furniture in service of the neighbourhood: structures and furniture will be created to encourage the use and appreciation of the archaeological area.
The chapel and archaeological area will be equipped with general lighting to make the complex more visible and provide safety even after sunset.
