Project description
The Capitoline Assembly recognised the Public Interest in the preliminary project presented by A.S. Roma for the construction of a stadium in Pietralata. The area of interest will cover approximately 20 hectares and will include the construction of a structure with an initial capacity of 55,000 spectators, which can be extended to 62,000. The project will include the creation of parking lots, parks, and green areas for over 15 hectares, along with bicycle-pedestrian paths.
After the declaration of public interest, a 60-day public debate and discussion phase was launched, involving citizens, committees, and the local community. The results of this Public Debate, together with the indications coming from the preliminary Services Conference already deliberated, will be incorporated into the final project that the Company will have to present. The latter will subsequently be discussed during a Decision-making Services Conference convened by the Lazio Region. If the outcome of the discussion is positive, the definitive way to the realisation of the work will be provided.
