Over time, river floods have destroyed or damaged their vessel launching facilities. Currently, unofficial slides or those not located near their operational bases are being used, leading to potential delays during emergency operations. The new and refurbished slides will enhance safety and response times during emergencies, ensuring the coverage of the entire urban stretch of the Tiber River in Rome.
