The intervention will be related to the restoration of the three buildings called "Scuderie", originally designed to become museum spaces and later converted for cultural activities, in accordance with Council resolution No. 4816/2003.
The activities planned for each of the three buildings will include:
- the structural consolidation of foundations and vertical elements;
- the anti-seismic, plant engineering and energy adaptation;
- the readjustment of internal spaces to respond to new functions;
- the removal of architectural barriers;
- the restoration of the external façades;
- the main interior finishes.
The tender is currently being finalised. Designers were asked to include leading professional figures such as architects, structural engineers and plant engineers while following a protocol to ensure the energy-environmental certification of the project, such as LEED, BREEM, or similar standards specific to historic buildings.
