Redevelopment of the pilgrim services building along the Seven Churches route

Implementing party

Giubileo2025

Project description

The "Farmer's Market Garbatella" building in via Passino 22, Municipality of Rome VIII, owned by Roma Capitale, performs various functions: Municipal Agricultural Market, “Millepiani” coworking and “La Strada” social centre. For these reasons, it is intended to complete and adapt the building according to current regulations, including fire safety, as well as carrying out internal and external painting interventions. The building could also be used for services to those who follow the Seven Churches Pilgrimage route. Currently, the spaces intended for the "Farmer's Market Garbatella" require completion and maintenance, including improvements to the concrete floors and the installation of electrical and water systems. Solutions will be implemented to make the premises accessible, including ramps and toilets, for both visitors and market operators. In addition, interventions will be carried out aimed at enhancing the architectural aspect of the building, with the aim of creating an open space that can be used on a daily basis.
