The redevelopment project of Piazza Roberto Malatesta, located in Municipality V, was born from the desire to restore the social, meeting and leisure function that this area had before the start of the Metro C construction site, in 2007.

The intervention, implemented and concluded, saw the construction of:

• 2 sunshade structures to cover the areas between the existing walls, covered in travertine and equipped with parking seats. The shading shelters made of painted 0 cm steel slats have allowed the mitigation of the sunshine which, especially in the spring-summer period, prevented the square full use.
• 1 area to be used as a flowerbed, obtained in the space between the two shelters, together with the greening of 2 already existing flowerbeds through the installation of essences with reduced water consumption and low maintenance.

A series of outdoor games for children made of thermoplastic material, useful to create a place of leisure even for the little ones.
