In view of the Jubilee 2025, the hydraulic emergency management system is expected to be upgraded, especially in the Roma Nord area. The equipment of the Civil Protection Department will be enhanced in order to deal with emergency situation in a timely and effective manner. 

In particular, dewatering motor pumps, i.e. water pumps, will be purchased to remove and drain large volumes of water and to handle waste water containing solids. In the event of flooding, these means ensure the quick and safe drainage of water. 

Here are the details of the vehicles planned for purchase:

• 1 24,000 l/min water pump; 
• 10 Raptor hydraulic control units, with 3,000 l/min submersible pump;
• 25 floating motor pumps for road surfaces; 
• 25 electric submerged pumps;
• a set of protective barriers and waterproof bag kits.
