Project description
This project is part of the initiative to preserve and enhance the Appia Antica route, in particular the section from Porta San Sebastiano to Cecilia Metella, currently used as a vehicular transit route in the Appia Antica archaeological park. This section lacks adequate infrastructure for the protection of pedestrians and cyclists. The project will be part of the GRAB tourist bicycle path, with the aim of ensuring adequate access to the archaeological and nature areas of the Appia Antica, including local financial and residential activities, as well as tourist transport.
