Parking area at Conca d'Oro Metro Station

Implementing party

Roma Capitale
Roma Servizi per la mobilità s.r.l.

Project description

The parking area at Conca d'Oro Metro B1 station, open to the public on 11 March 2024, is a multistorey structure on two underground floors that has 198 parking spaces, of which 5 are reserved for disabled people and 14 for mopeds.

Equipped with a photovoltaic system currently being activated, with an expected power of about 30 kW, the parking area will contribute to the reduction of energy costs, making the structure more sustainable.

The road access to the parking area is on Via Martana, with a canalisation lane from Via Val di Cogne, while the exit is on Viale Tirreno.

The construction of the parking area has been entrusted to the Department of Sustainable Mobility and Transport of Roma Capitale and to Roma Servizi per la Mobilità, whereas ATAC will manage the service under the Service Contract with the Capitoline Administration.

The tariff scheme indicated in the ATAC Service Contract provides for a cost of € 1.50 for the first 12 consecutive hours and € 2.50 for a maximum of 16 consecutive hours. Public transport subscribers and other categories exempt from parking fees can park for free, as provided for in the ATAC Service Contract for park-and-ride facilities.
