The Park – Tiberis Beach, already much loved and frequented by citizens, extends over an area of 1.9 hectares surrounded by the remains of the ancient Villa di Pietra Papa, the nearby Papal Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, as well as the twentieth-century Marconi Bridge and the recent Marconi Park.

Now the project focuses on the extension and consolidation of this green area along the left bank of the Tiber which, as evidenced by the presence of bright water games and beach volleyball courts, has a playful-sporting character.

The intervention aims to make the Park a place that is always open, and not accessible only during the summer season. For this reason, a square with a flight of steps will be built, which will become a meeting point for citizens all year round and will host outdoor shows and movies.
