The area of the Zona dei Colli is located in the eastern quadrant of Rome and has a slightly hilly morphology, with the Fosso dell'Osa to the east and the Fosso Ponte di Nona to the west, which join in the Aniene River to the north of the area. This area includes the neighbourhoods of Lunghezza, Ponte di Nona, Colle degli Abeti, Villaggio Falcone and Colle del Sole. 

At the request of the Municipality, the experts have developed a project to create a proximity infrastructure that will link all the districts, with particular attention to the creation of green and public spaces along the way. 

The involvement of local communities will be essential in defining the different activities to be included in the project.

The first planned intervention is related to the construction of the cycle-pedestrian bridge in Via Monsignor Pietro Orsi.
