Through the design and development of these actions, the roll-out of new technologies within Roma Capitale was ensured, with particular attention to the network policy management system. The objectives of the project were the following: 

• Security by design and monitoring: ability to adapt to changing physical and digital, internal and external environments ensuring data confidentiality, integrity and availability;
• Resilience: developing the ability to react quickly and effectively;
• Ability to manage security systems in a unified and detailed way: achievement of a unified management level of security systems and their specific setup;
• Effectiveness of reset procedures: realisation of reset procedures that do not paralyse activities and do not damage end users. 

The project aimed to set up a support service to the management of potential security issues in the light of the requests for policy changes.
