The project aims to enhance the Theatre of Marcellus area through the use of next generation digital technologies. The aim is to enable the public to broaden and deepen their knowledge of the spaces, understanding their extent, history and architectural features.
Visitors have the opportunity to see 3D augmented reality reconstructions of environments, using advanced technologies and virtual reality systems based on georeferenced information. This allows them to visualise the places in their original form.
The end result is a unique immersive experience, made possible by the integration of technologies directly into screens and viewing devices. Users are able to explore the Theatre of Marcellus area virtually and interact with the different digital elements.
