The project involved the development of the new “Tourist Virtual Assistant” app, which allows tourists to access, through an integrated platform, all the information related to their travel experience. In addition, the app supports the necessary features to create customised tours by providing booking, ticketing, and real-time information on local public services. The final goal is to provide tourists with a comprehensive, integrated tool to easily plan and manage their journey while enhancing their overall experience.
The main features of the app are as follows:
 

• detailed tourist information: the App offers a wide variety of tourist information, covering the main attractions, places of interest, local events, culture and history of the destination. Tourists can plan their journey quickly and intuitively by accessing this information;
• booking and ticketing: the App enables tourists to book accommodation, means of transport and activities through an optimised process;
• real-time information: the ‘Tourist Virtual Assistant’ provides up-to-date information on local public services, including public transport and weather forecasts;
• social media integration: the App is integrated with the major social media platforms, allowing tourists to share their travel experience, photos and stories with their friends and family;
• voice assistant accessibility: tourists can use voice commands to get information and bookings for a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
