The intervention aimed to increase the reception capacity of the Santa Maria della Pietà area where, in pavilions 11 and 15, there were already two Youth Hostels renovated on the occasion of the 2000 Jubilee. In addition to these, pavilion 10 was renovated in which a third Hostel was built in view of the 2025 Jubilee. 

The Santa Maria della Pietà area, with its monumental park of about 30 hectares, is a place of great interest on the outskirts of Rome, located along the Via Francigena near Monte Mario station. With the activation of the three Hostels, its reception capacity reached 210 beds, divided into double and quadruple rooms with exclusive bathroom and rooms with shared bathroom, together with services and common rooms. To activate the reception service, furnishings and instrumental equipment were also purchased.
