The intervention involves the extension of the Emergency Department of the S. Filippo Neri Hospital, through the construction of new external buildings, adjacent to the current unit. The new building, with a surface area of approximately 400 square metres, will house new spaces for outpatient and radiological services. This extension will allow for a more functional organisation of the Emergency Department, with the creation of adequate reception and waiting areas for patients, and the restructuring of emergency rooms and intensive brief observation. In addition, the diagnostic supply network of the Emergency and Admission Department (EAD) will be substantially strengthened through the purchase of new electro-medical equipment.
