Implementing party

Project description
The project is related to energy efficiency and the eco-sustainable refunctionalisation of the former "Fornace Veschi", an important example of industrial archaeology, through the installation of networks, systems and equipment necessary for the energy redevelopment of the structure.
Specifically, the planned activities will include the following interventions:
- Restoration of the wall parts and plasterboard partitions damaged by vandalism;
- Strengthening of security levels and implementation of territorial signage;
- Creation of two entrances to the ground floor: a main one near the lift compartment and the main entrance to the library, the other on the square adjacent to the offices;
- Creation of a completely glazed façade along the outdoor space, which will house the reading room and the co-working area;
- Enhancement of the Wi-Fi connection;
- Creation of "media library" spaces for access to the internet and reading spaces;
- Creation of classrooms for group study and co-working stations;
- Creation of exhibition areas and conference spaces for local associations through the remodelling of internal spaces.
