The group of seven fountains that are part of the intervention belongs to the northern sector of the Villa:

• Fountain of the Satyrs;
• Satirelli Fountain (small satyrs);
• Fountain in the Aviary;
• Rustic fountain of the Walls;
• Grotticella Fountain;
• Water trough;
• Oval Fountain.

The restoration activities focused on the following:

• securing of unsafe areas;
• chemical and mechanical surface cleaning;
• removal of limestone concretions;
• disinfection and removal of invasive weeds;
• reinforcement, testing and integration of plastering;
• treatment of oxidised metal parts;
• remaking portions of sculptures and lost physiognomic elements;
• aesthetic overhaul;
• application of final protective coating;
• finishing of waterproofing.
