Project description

The restoration and enhancement project of the Egyptian Propylaea located in Villa Borghese aims at preserving and enhancing the artistic and historical relevance of the site. The interventions will include:

  • wall renovation to reduce humidity problems;
  • plastering renovation to restore the original appearance of surfaces and ensure their durability;
  • cleaning and wall painting to restore the walls to their original brightness, enhancing their decorative and architectural features;
  • restoration of roofing elements to ensure structural stability and protection from weather conditions;
  • lighting enhancement.

The ultimate goal is to preserve Villa Borghese cultural heritage, offering the public a restored and fascinating environment to explore. The project aims to ensure a long-term conservation of the Egyptian Propylaea, preserving their beauty and offering visitors a valuable experience.
