Implementing party
Project description
During the intervention, the following operations will be carried out: removal of surface deposits such as dust, soil, and guano; application of biocidal treatment to eliminate invasive weeds, lichen, moss, and other forms of unwanted vegetation; conservative restoration and reconstruction interventions; consolidation of wall structures based on the specific problems encountered.
Archaeological investigations will be planned in areas yet unexplored, in order to acquire further knowledge of the surrounding area's history and context. An anti-intrusion system will also be installed to ensure safety and prevent any vandalism or unauthorised intrusion. Finally, a new artistic lighting system will be installed to enhance and highlight the architectural and artistic elements.
These activities aim to preserve, restore, and enhance the area while providing a better understanding of its historical and archaeological importance.
