Project description
The project involves the protection and conservation of the Fountain of Venus and the monumental complex of the Theatre Garden through the restoration of the 17th century jeux d'eau. The activities included in the intervention will be the following:
- historical-stylistic restoration;
- consolidation of the original decorative materials of the surface decoration;
- reconstruction of the missing parts;
- overhaul of the water system supplying the jeux d'eau;
- lighting enhancement.
