Project description
The project entailed the complete restoration of the fountain, which had limestone deposits and other aesthetic and functional issues on most of its sculptural apparatus. The works included the following:
- conservative restoration of marble surfaces;
- restoration of bronze surfaces of the wolf heads;
- restoration of the waterproofing of basins;
- restoration of the access steps to the fountain;
- arrangement of bollards and the paving strip in Sampietrini;
- inspection of the water system;
- refurbishment of a section of the fountain drainage system;
- maintenance of stone surfaces;
- maintenance of bronze surfaces.
