Caput Mundi: Excubitorium della VII Contigent
Implementing party
Project description
The project focuses on a series of interventions for the recovery and enhancement of the area. Some of the key interventions include:
- Restoration of the modern roof of the hypogaeum complex: restoration work will be carried out on the modern roof of the hypogaeum complex, in order to preserve its integrity and ensure its protection from atmospheric agents;
- Review of systems: reviews — and, if necessary, improvements to the systems installed in the area — will be carried out, such as electrical, plumbing or lighting systems, in order to ensure the correct functioning and safety of the spaces;
- Arrangement and preparation of the underlying archaeological area: interventions will be carried out to arrange and enhance the archaeological area beneath the hypogaeum complex. This could include the cleaning, reconstruction or rearrangement of architectural elements, as well as the creation of itineraries and information areas for visitors.
Through these interventions, the aim is to preserve and enhance the hypogaeum complex, creating a welcoming and informative environment for visitors, allowing them to fully appreciate and understand the history and importance of this archaeological area.
